University of Missouri rules on translated transcripts
Mizzou publishes different instructions for undergraduate and graduate applicants, and they are worth reading closely before you pay for anything.
- Undergraduate admissions. International applicants whose transcripts are not in English must submit the original transcripts in the native language and their English translation if the curriculum was not taught in English. Applicants may upload unofficial copies themselves, while official transcripts must come from a school counselor or other school official. Mizzou also says it does not accept home-country grades that were transferred to or adjusted by a U.S. high school.
- Graduate School. Applicants are told to upload copies of transcripts or mark sheets with courses and grades, in English, and not to upload evaluations completed by third parties such as ECE or WES.
- What that means for your order. Neither page says who may prepare the English version. Ask your admissions contact whether a certified translation from an outside translator is acceptable for your file, then send us the transcript and any required wording.
