Business Agreement Document authentications
Sending a contract, partnership agreement or corporate document abroad? We coordinate the notary, the Secretary of State apostille and the shipping, so your agreement is accepted the first time.

What is an apostille for a business agreement?
An apostille is a certificate that confirms a document’s signature and seal are genuine, so another country will accept it without further checks. It comes from the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, which more than 120 countries have joined.
A business agreement is a private document, so it cannot be apostilled on its own. A notary public first notarizes it. The Secretary of State of the state where that notary is commissioned then attaches the apostille to the notarized document.
The apostille covers public and notarized documents. It does not cover documents signed by diplomatic or consular agents.
How the apostille process works
Send us your agreement
Email a scan or message us on WhatsApp. We confirm whether it needs an apostille and where it is going.
Notarization
Sign before a notary. We can arrange this if you need it. Original signatures are required.
Submission
We send the notarized original with the request form and fees to the Secretary of State, or to the U.S. Department of State for federal documents.
Apostille attached
The authority verifies the notary’s commission and attaches the apostille certificate.
Translation, if required
Some countries need a certified translation of the apostilled agreement. We order it for you.
Delivery
We ship the finished document by express courier, in the U.S. or anywhere in the world.
Countries outside the Hague Convention
If the destination country has not joined the convention, an apostille is not enough. The document needs legalization through the country’s embassy or consulate after state and federal authentication.
We handle document legalization for Colombia, Costa Rica, Portugal, Spain, Vietnam, UAE, Qatar, Iraq and Egypt. Check the full country list or ask us about your destination.
