The apostille office is in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Secretary of State issues every apostille in the state from the Herschler Building East, 122 W 25th St, Suites 100 and 101. For someone in Cheyenne that means you can hand a document over in person instead of mailing it, but only with an appointment. The office handles in-person apostille requests by appointment only, booked at 307-777-7370 or apostilles@wyo.gov.

The fee is $20 per document, paid by cash, check or money order. Credit cards are not accepted. The office is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays except state holidays, and you can collect the finished document or leave a prepaid envelope.

The document must be certified by a Wyoming official or acknowledged before a Wyoming notary public. For a translation, that means a notarized translator’s statement. When a translation has to be notarized for a Wyoming apostille, we hire a notary commissioned in Wyoming to notarize the translator’s statement.

Translated transcripts for Laramie County Community College

Laramie County Community College asks international applicants for official transcript evaluations from each high school and college attended. The evaluations must come from a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. College transcripts need a course-by-course evaluation.

A credential evaluation is a separate service from translation. Evaluators generally work from English versions of your records, so check with the evaluator you choose about what kind of translation it accepts before ordering one from us.

How Cheyenne customers place an order

  • Send the file. Upload a PDF, JPEG, PNG or Word file through the quote form. A phone photo is fine if every stamp and margin is readable.
  • Say where it is going. Tell us whether the translation is for USCIS, the Secretary of State, a court or a school, so the certificate is prepared the right way.
  • Get it back. We return the certified translation electronically or by mail, usually within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Questions. Call (971) 514-3743 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
