Both Gregg County clerk offices post hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, closing from noon to 1:00 p.m. The County Clerk also offers a mail-in application for certified birth and death certificates. When ordering from DSHS, enter “Apostille” as the reason.

Can I get a birth certificate from Longview City Hall?
No. The City of Longview says its City Secretary’s Office does not issue birth certificates. Order from the Gregg County Clerk or from Texas Vital Statistics.
My home is in the Harrison County part of Longview. Where is my marriage record?
